MR ANDREW PARKER
Andrew is married to Christine and have two sons, Matt (a Primary School Teacher) and Luke (shortly to work for Guernsey Government). He is a Leader at Tony’s home church, Sunbridge Road Mission, Bradford and has been actively involved in various aspects of the church’s ministry for nearly thirty years. He is presently an Elder, Church Treasurer and also a Trustee.
As a committed Christian, he is passionate in serving those in his church and being involved in new and developing ministries. He presently serves as Trustee of Christians Against Poverty and has seen many people come to faith in Jesus over the years and in his ministry engagement within his own church.
Andrew is a Chartered Accountant by profession and operates a small firm of Chartered Accountants in Bradford that offers specific services to new and established businesses. As part of his ongoing work Andrew advises a number of charities many, with a Christian ethos. He enjoys watching live sport, travel and walking in the Lake District and in various countries abroad.
Andrew has known Tony for over ten years and is pleased to be able to be able to offer his support and advice as Tony engages in this specialised ministry.
MR GEOFF BENNETT
Geoff Bennett is a graduate of Moorlands College. After Christian service in the Far East he became a Probation Officer, which led to work in Child Guidance Clinics and Medical Social Work. After early retirement he lectured at St. Andrew’s Bible College for over 10 years. He is now an itinerant preacher, broadcasting for many years with Good News Broadcasting and is the past Chairman of Oswald Chambers Publications Association Ltd. He lives in Leeds with his wife, has four grown up children and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
MR PAUL WHARTON
Paul is married to Tina and has a son and daughter, Chris and Joy.
He is a serving Police Officer.
He enjoys all sports (particularly rugby and football) and likes to keep fit by running and cycling.
Paul was brought up in a non-Christian family and he became a Christian at the age of 20.
He served as a Deacon at Clayton Baptist Church and now attends Sunbridge Road Mission, Bradford where he serves as a member of the care team.
Paul and Tony have been friends for almost 30 years and he is looking forward to both supporting and advising Tony in his new ministry.
